• Low melting temperature agarose which has a high resolving capacity for DNA fragments smaller than 1000 bp, especially PCR products ranging from 200-800 bp. Ideal for preparative electrophoresis.
• A general-purpose agarose for molecular biology applications. It has a low electroendosmosis(EEO) and high electrophoresis mobility. Suitable for analytical and preparative nucleic acid electrophoresis, blotting and protein electrophoresis.

• 有吸湿性。溶于热水，不溶于冷水、有机溶剂。适当浓度的水溶液，遇冷凝结成胶状。在低pH时，凝胶强度下降，甚至不能成胶状，冰冻的凝胶解冻后凝胶形状会破坏，但加热溶解放冷后可重新形成原来形状。
