  • 用途一:用作表面活性剂的原料。对异丙苯基酚与环氧乙烷加成得到非离子型表面活性剂。用作杀菌防霉剂。该品杀菌防霉力强。对矿物油和锭子油的亲和性好，可用作润滑等杀菌防霉剂。与五氯酚相比，毒性要小得多，而且没有刺激气味，也可用于木材的杀菌、防霉。用作树脂的原料。与甲醛制成烷基苯酚树脂，用于涂料、粘合剂等。该品还用作环氧树脂的分子量调节剂、反应性稀释剂、增量剂；与高级脂肪酸、磷酸等生成酯类，用作增塑剂和稳定剂；还用作聚碳酸酯的分子量调节剂。
