方法一:亚硫酸盐还原法将硫酸铜用亚硫酸钠在碱性条件下还原，然后与硫氰酸钠反应生成白色沉淀，经过滤、水洗及干燥即得硫氰酸亚铜。其 2CuSo4+Na2SO3+2NaOH+2NaSCN→2CuSCN+3Na3SO4+H2O
上游原料:硫酸铜 --> 硫氰酸钠
用途二:是一种优良的无机颜料，用作船底防污涂料，其稳定性比氧化亚铜更好。与有机锡化合物混配是有效的防污剂。具有杀菌(防霉)与杀虫活性，用于果树防护。用作聚氯乙烯塑料的阻燃与消烟剂，加入量为树脂量的0.01%～10%，与硫酸镍或钼酸蜜胺盐合用作消烟剂，与卤化不饱和聚酯树脂合用作阻燃消烟剂。用作润滑油、脂的添加剂，非银盐系感光材料，有机合成催化剂或聚合反应调节剂；镀铜之药剂，海水电池的电极材料，以及聚硫橡胶的稳定剂，玻璃纤维染色的载体及牙齿磨料等。

几乎不溶于水，难溶于稀盐酸、乙醇、丙酮，能溶于氨水及乙醚，易溶于浓的碱金属硫氰酸盐溶液中，可形成结合物，溶于浓硫酸即分解。在空气中加热至140℃以上可发火燃烧。干燥的硫氰酸亚铜在冷时能吸收氨而成合氨硫氰酸亚铜(2 CuSCN·5NH3)的加成物，加热后放出氨。
