  • 电解法制备四甲基氢氧化铵:四甲基氢氧化铵是一种有机碱,在工业科研领域有着极为广泛的用途。 在国内主要被用作有机硅系列产品,如硅油、硅橡胶、硅树脂等合成中的主要催化剂,虽然用量不大,但对于产品的收率和质量影响很大。 在国外主要用于聚酯类聚合物、纺织、塑料制品、食品、皮革、木材加工、电镀、微生物等。 现在四甲基氢氧化铵已经进入尖端科技领域,如在电路板的印刷和显微镜片的制造业中,可作为集成电路板的清洗剂和半导体微加工技术中的Si-SiO2界面的各向异性腐蚀剂。随着科学技术的发展,这种类型的化学试剂需要量日趋增加,对四甲基氢氧化铵的质量和数量都提出了更高的要求。 电解法制备四甲基氢氧化铵的原理是电解槽阳极室中的四甲基氯化铵水溶液在电场力的作用下,溶液中的氯离子向阳极方向迁移直至在阳极上放电而析出氯气。同时,由于离子膜的选择透过性,氯离子无法扩散透过离子交换膜,只有四甲铵离子才能选择透过而进入阴极室,并富集于其中。电解槽阴极室中水分子在阴极上分解为氢气和氢氧根离子。后者恰好同由阳极室迁移来的四甲铵离子结合成四甲基氢氧化铵。随着通电量的增加而四甲基氢氧化铵浓度不断提高,最终达到预期的粗品浓度。 阳极电化学反应为: (CH3)4NCl→(CH3)4N++Clˉ 2Clˉ— 2e→Cl2↑ 阴极电化学反应为: H2O→H+ + OHˉ (CH3)4N++OHˉ→(CH3)4NOH 2H++2e→H2↑ 总反应为: 2(CH3)4NCl+2H2O→2(CH3)4NOH+H2↑+Cl2↑ 电解法中产生的氢气放空,生成的氯气用碱液吸收生成次氯酸钠,次氯酸钠是漂白粉的主要原料。 因此该方法制备四甲基氢氧化铵方法简单、纯度高、无环境污染。
