二氧六环纯化与除水方法:二氧六环能与水任意混合，常含有少量二乙醇缩醛与水，久贮的二氧六环可能含有过氧化物（鉴定和除去参阅乙醚）。二氧六环的纯化方法，在500mL二氧六环中加入8mL浓盐酸和50mL水的溶液，回流6~10h ，在回流过程中，慢慢通入氮气以除去生成的乙醛。冷却后，加入固体氢氧化钾，直到不能再溶解为止，分去水层，再用固体氢氧化钾干燥24h。然后过滤，在金属钠存在下加热回流8~12h，最后在金属钠存在下蒸馏，压入饥丝密封保存。精制过的1,4-二氧环己烷应当避免与空气接触。

用途四:该品在医药、化妆品、香料等特殊精细化学品制造，以及科学研究中作为溶剂、反应介质、萃取剂使用。在日本，该品主要用作1,1,1-三氯乙烷的稳定剂，添加量为2.5-4%；其次，应用较多的是作为聚氨酯合成革、氨基酸合成革等的反应溶剂。该品溶解能力强，与二甲基甲酰胺相近，比四氢呋喃强。二氧六环有以下用途值得重视：（1）与三氧化硫形成络合物，可用作许多化合物合成时的硫酸化剂；（2）用于医药、农药的提取，石油产品的脱蜡等；（3）用作染料分散剂、木材着色剂的分散剂以及油溶性染料的
